OUR QUALIFICATIONS
Since 1976 Eason Diving has been committed to providing safe, efficient commercial diving services. As part of this ongoing commitment to our clients and employees, all diving operations are conducted in full compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and industry standards. As a result of maintaining such high standards, our client base includes many governmental agencies the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Navy and NOAA, to name a few.
Eason Diving maintains a full-time staff of commercially trained divers - in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910, Subpart T current in their first aid, CPR and oxygen administration training and their annual commercial diving physicals. Our comprehensive Safe Practices Manual and various other specific in-house procedures further ensure that all operations are conducted with safety as a priority.
As a member of the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADC), we comply with the ADC Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving Operations and recognize that recreational scuba diving certificates do not represent appropriate training for conducting commercial diving operations. Accordingly, all Eason Diving personnel have received training from an accredited Association of Commercial Diving Educators (ACDE) school and hold ADC Commercial Diver Certification Cards indicating their qualification and competency level as defined in the ADC Consensus Standards.
Other personnel qualifications maintained by many of our divers include: non-destructive testing (NDT) training, confined space entry training, tagout/lockout training, Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training, underwater bridge inspector's training, nuclear contaminated training, safe boating training and U.S. Coast Guard Captain's License.
All of Eason Diving's operations are fully insured - evidence of our General Liability, Workers' Compensation (State Act and USL&H) and Jones Act coverage can be provided for evaluation of our qualifications and an insurance certificate will be issued prior to commencement of work.
